Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Aura Cosmetic Tattoo, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all services including:

  • Cosmetic Tattoo (Brows, Lips, Eyeliner, Freckles, Beauty Spots)

  • Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

  • Non-Laser Cosmetic Tattoo Removal

  • Plasma Fibroblast (Face & Body)

  • Paramedical Tattoo Revision & Camouflage (Scars, Stretch Marks, Vitiligo)


1. Consultations

All consultations (online or in person) are complimentary and obligation-free.

Consultations allow us to:

  • Assess your skin and suitability

  • Review previous work or medical history

  • Discuss expectations and realistic outcomes

  • Create a personalised treatment plan

Please note:
A consultation does not guarantee treatment approval. Aura Cosmetic Tattoo reserves the right to decline treatment if deemed unsuitable for safety, medical, or ethical reasons.


2. Booking Fee & Payments

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments.

  • The booking fee is credited toward your total treatment cost.

  • Appointments are not confirmed without payment.

  • Change of mind does not qualify for a refund.

  • In certain circumstances, a treatment credit may be offered at our discretion.

Remaining balances are due in full on the day of your appointment.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Card (1.1% surcharge applies)

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer (must clear prior to appointment)


3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of your booking fee.

  • No-shows will forfeit their booking fee entirely.

  • A new booking fee is required to rebook.

Appointment reminders are sent as a courtesy. It remains the client’s responsibility to manage their booking.


4. Medical Disclosure & Suitability

All clients must complete a consent and medical history form prior to treatment.

It is your responsibility to disclose:

  • Medical conditions

  • Medications

  • Previous procedures (laser, injectables, surgery)

  • Skin sensitivities

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

Failure to disclose relevant medical information releases Aura Cosmetic Tattoo from liability.

Doctor approval may be required for certain medical conditions.

Aura Cosmetic Tattoo reserves the right to refuse treatment at any time for safety reasons.


5. Contraindications

Treatment cannot be performed if you are:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Undergoing active cancer treatment

  • Experiencing infections, open wounds, active acne, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area

  • Less than 2 weeks post cosmetic injectables in the area

  • Less than 2–6 months post surgery in the area

  • Treating scars less than 12 months old (for paramedical work)

Medical clearance may be required for:

  • Blood disorders

  • Heart conditions

  • Autoimmune disorders

  • Immunocompromised conditions

  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders

  • Certain medications affecting healing or clotting


6. Results, Healing & Longevity

All treatments are considered semi-permanent.

Results vary significantly based on:

  • Skin type and condition

  • Age and lifestyle

  • Hormones and medications

  • Sun exposure

  • Aftercare compliance

  • Previous tattoo or laser work

Aura Cosmetic Tattoo does not guarantee:

  • Specific colour outcomes

  • Exact shape retention

  • Number of sessions required

  • Longevity of results

Additional sessions may be required, particularly for:

  • Non-laser removal

  • Paramedical camouflage

  • Plasma fibroblast

  • Scar revision

  • Vitiligo camouflage

  • Clients with previous tattoo saturation or laser history


7. Touch-Ups & Maintenance

Most cosmetic tattoo procedures require a perfecting session 6–8 weeks after the initial treatment (unless otherwise advised).

Maintenance guidelines:

  • Cosmetic Tattoo: 6–24 months

  • SMP: 5–10 years

  • Plasma Fibroblast: results vary; maintenance may be required

  • Paramedical & Camouflage: multiple sessions often required

  • Non-Laser Removal: multiple sessions required

Touch-up pricing applies outside recommended timeframes.


8. Aftercare Responsibility

Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided.

Clients are fully responsible for:

  • Following aftercare instructions

  • Avoiding contraindicated products or treatments

  • Protecting treated areas from sun exposure

  • Attending recommended follow-up sessions

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect results and void eligibility for complimentary touch-ups (if applicable).


9. Plasma Fibroblast Specific Terms

Plasma fibroblast treatments create controlled skin trauma to stimulate tightening and collagen production.

By booking this service, you acknowledge:

  • Swelling, redness and scabbing are normal

  • Downtime varies per individual

  • Multiple sessions may be required

  • Results develop gradually over weeks to months

  • Pigment changes (temporary or permanent) are possible

  • Strict sun avoidance is mandatory

Aura Cosmetic Tattoo is not responsible for complications caused by failure to follow aftercare or sun exposure.


10. Non-Laser Removal & Paramedical Treatments

These treatments stimulate skin regeneration and pigment release.

Clients acknowledge:

  • Multiple sessions are typically required

  • Results cannot be predicted or guaranteed

  • Pigment shifts may occur before fading

  • Scar tissue may respond unpredictably

  • Full removal may not be achievable


11. Photography & Marketing Consent

Photos and videos are taken for:

  • Documentation

  • Progress tracking

  • Legal records

Images may be used for marketing and educational purposes unless the client specifically declines in writing prior to treatment.

All content remains property of Aura Cosmetic Tattoo.


12. Liability Waiver

By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge:

  • You understand the nature of the procedure

  • You accept the risks involved

  • You understand that results vary

  • You release Aura Cosmetic Tattoo from liability for unforeseen complications arising from undisclosed conditions or failure to follow aftercare

Aura Cosmetic Tattoo operates in accordance with Victorian health regulations and maintains strict hygiene and safety standards.


13. Right to Refuse Service

Aura Cosmetic Tattoo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:

  • A client arrives unwell or intoxicated

  • Medical concerns arise

  • Unrealistic expectations are present

  • Safety may be compromised
